Hi,
For years, healthy eating was mostly talked about in terms of calories.
Now, open Instagram and suddenly everyone is talking about macros.
How much protein does it have?
How many carbs?
Is there enough fiber?
And honestly, I think there’s something interesting about this shift.
Because two meals can have roughly the same number of calories and still be very different meals.
A breakfast that’s mostly refined carbohydrates isn’t nutritionally equivalent to one that gives you plenty of protein and fiber, even if the calorie count happens to look similar.
And that’s why I’ve found myself paying more attention to questions like “will this give me enough protein? Where’s the fiber?”
But here’s what I’m curious about...
Do YOU want this information when we share recipes?
We’re working on lots of new Bloom recipes, and rather than guessing what you care about, I’d love to know.
And if none of these quite capture how you feel, leave us a comment. Any honest opinion is incredibly helpful and would mean a lot to us. ❤️
No right answer here. I genuinely want to know how you use our recipes so we can make them more useful for you.
Veronika
